I believe that who we are now is what we were when. All our past experiences come together to help us create the next important phase in our life.
Our name, lemonlime group, and our logo, were created from memories of old metal shell chairs that decorated the large porch of my Greek immigrant grandparents. The chairs were always together; the lemon one was for my grandfather and the lime for my grandmother. They spent hours on their porch talking, watching and listening. They knew their neighbors and their neighbors always looked up to see if Helen and Gregory were in the lemon and lime chairs. And although my grandparents spoke little English, there was always a sense of “communicating with the neighborhood” from that porch. They knew people and people knew them even without much conversation.
My business background covers more than 25 years of corporate quality, sales and sales management experience. Success in any business requires a certain set of skills that I learned long ago and bring to my business interactions today. Skills that include- questioning, probing, listening, negotiating, leading and organizing have served me well and continue to do so. Having these skills differentiate my services from many others in real estate.
My lifelong learning includes understanding and connecting with different ethnic cultures and learning language. It all goes back to that Greek upbringing that gave me an appreciation for being bi-lingual and having a robust heritage. I want to understand that about others, too.
And so, the learning that we’ve had over a life time helps us succeed in our next business adventure. What we are now has everything to do with what we learned and did back then.
My hope is that you will give me a call. I know you won’t be disappointed.
